Hi, I’m Scout and I love being a therapist.
My love for stories and teasing through the kaleidoscope of the human experience, in all of its beauty and messiness and contradictions, began during my literature studies. I received my BA in English from Portland State University in 2023. I went on to work in the social services sector, taking on supportive roles for unhoused residents in Multnomah County and for families navigating CPS. In 2026 I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University. I completed my Internship and Practicum experience in community mental health, working with folks impacted by the criminal justice system and those navigating substance use concerns.
I am originally from South Florida and have lived in Portland for 16 years. Outside of work I can be found roller skating on halfpipes, dancing, longboarding with my 12-year-old daughter, cooking, crafting, cuddling pets, bouldering, or playing board games with friends. I strive to cultivate a life filled with creativity and a little bit of magic. By caring for myself and staying connected to my community, I can show up fully in the therapy room.
